Yikes! A great (horrid but well-done) little fable!

  2. Lo Bowman says:

I really like this! In the end, I was expecting the wolf to protect the man from the other wolves, but I like how you had the man get instead. Nice work!! Can’t wait to read more!

  3. An excellent take on a traditional fable. Be careful who you trust…

  4. g. says:

Perhaps a wolf can only be a wolf.

  5. Rachael Charmley says:

Really enjoyable piece with a totally unexpected twist at the end. A timely reminder, as another blogger said, that in the end a woof is still a wolf.

  6. As I read this my own wolf (sorry lab/retriever) was lying next to me. Fortunately he is well fed so I don’t need to concern myself with being eaten!

  7. You have an error in the 2nd sentence. “Lead” should be “led”.

  8. b00kreader says:

I am reminded of Asop’s fable about the scorpion and the frog 😉 Very nicely done.
