14. He looked down on humanity

He looked down on humanity from his gold-plated column. The folks were slightly larger than ants from his point of view but to him they had the same significance. He wanted to crush them, each and every one of them. Puny humans, the deity snickered, I will obliterate you all, forgetting that the only places he actually existed in was in this motionless sculpture and in the deluded minds of the people he so badly wanted to annihilate.
